Skincare Picks #3

Melvita Fresh Micellar Water, *Ole Henriksen Truth Is In The Eyes Peel, *Ole Henriksen Total Truth Eye Cream, Lush Eau Roma Water, *Elemental Herbology Facial Glow Radiance Peel

Lets dive straight in and start with the Elemental Herbology Facial Glow Radiance Peel. A white, creamy face mask with grains that give a slight exfoliation as you apply it to your skin. I've been using it for  the past four weeks as a little pick me up when my skins looking a bit lack lustre as It's designed to resurface and brighten your skin, products I'm very fond of and constantly drawn too - count me in for anything that gives you practically new skin by morning. However, this is slightly different from a lot I've tried. Usually, you get that famous tingling sensation that is associated with AHA based products, but only ever so lightly with this one. Yet, it's still very effective and leaves my  skin feeling plump and full of moisture. Perhaps one to try if you want to brace AHA's but maybe you have sensitive skin and want to steer away from the tingling that usually occurs.

The Edit: Bronzers

Monday, 25 February 2013

*Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in 01, *Nars Laguna, *Dior Skin Nude 02, Soleil Tan De Chanel

(Pre-warning, you will see the words warmth, complexion and glow a lot in this post. Jus' sayin!)

If there is one product I love, it's a good bronzer. Face full of slap or not they bring warmth to your complexion, add shape and generally make you look healthier, which can make a hell of a difference. I've tried my fair share of bronzers and I'm bringing to you my edit of the ones that have made the cut. I know you're thinking why do you need four different bronzers? But I promise you they are all different and bring different things to the table - It all depends what you want to achieve out of it, but I reckon I've got a good selection here for everyone. Plus, it's good to have choice, right?

New Things #3

Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in Taupe, By Terry Cover Expert Foundation

This post usually occurs when I shouldn't really be shopping, and I know I probably won't include them in a haul due to restricting myself from the high-street. But yes, it's happened again and I have valid reasons... For one anyway.

London Fashion Week Survival Kit

Friday, 15 February 2013

Welcome to my little selection of products and must have items to get me through fashion week. It's a fun week, but very hectic. Switching between shows and being in the presence of the manic back stage and hopping from events leads to needing a few essentials to refresh, rehydrate and make me feel all polished again.

Burberry Complete Eye Palette in Mocha

Wednesday, 13 February 2013

*Burberry Complete Eye Palette in Mocha, Burberry Eye Definer in Midnight Brown,
 Real Techniques Starter Set

You all probably know I'm a bit of an eyeshadow noob, but I made a beauty resolution to be more adventurous and experiment with them, pulling myself away from my usual classic eye liner look. For some reason I always felt it didn't suit me, but I think thats just a case of getting to used to it.

Going Nude

*Lancome Vernis In Love - Jolis Mantis

For The Love Of Shuv

What a funny, cute little shoe right? Not usually my cup of tea as I like to play it simple. However saying that, there is currently a competition running where students from London College of Fashion (Can I just mention the likes of Jimmy Choo studied there, just wow) have the opportunity to design their very own clog. There have been 5 people shortlisted in a chance to win the competition and this has been judged by fashion editor Hilary Alexander, designer LuLu Guinness and founder of Fitflop Marcia Kilgore.

Nioxin & Thinning Hair Awareness Week

Sunday, 10 February 2013

Mid January I attended an event with Nioxin to learn about the products and what they are all about. Nioxin focus on treating ladies, and men with concerns of hair thinning. They have a wide range of products including a three step system to cater to six different hair types. It's designed to be a at home treatment to achieve fuller, thicker looking hair. Beforehand I didn't know you could even get that many hair types so it's trusting to see they supply products to suit specific hair types, therefore it's more targeted and usually means better results.

Make-up Picks #2

Saturday, 9 February 2013

Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight, *Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, MAC Melba Blusher, Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzer

The #2 episode of my make-up picks series is a bit of a shopping the stash edition, I've run out of a few products and instead of turning to the counters I had a rummage to see what I already had and as a result I've definitely fallen back in love with a few.

Haul: Space NK, Selfridges, American Apparel & Zara

Thursday, 7 February 2013

A bit of a mash up of a haul today, some bits I've bought, some from my Birthday and Christmas. It's quite big so I tried not to spend too much time on each item, hope it isn't too fast on you all. But if you have any questions about anything you can reach me on Twitter here. Don't forget to view on YouTube to get links and information about all the products mentioned.

African Botanics Neroli Infused Marula Oil

Monday, 4 February 2013

*African Botanics Neroli Infused Marula Oil

There are three skincare rules I live by in order to achieve and maintain good, healthy skin (not touching on diet, this plays a big part too!). They are to have a good cleanser, use SPF daily and use a good quality oil on your face every night. And oh boy, I think I've found the perfect one... I've touched on it a few times, but it most definitely deserves it's very own post.
