Skincare Picks #3

Lets dive straight in and start with the Elemental Herbology Facial Glow Radiance Peel. A white, creamy face mask with grains that give a slight exfoliation as you apply it to your skin. I've been using it for  the past four weeks as a little pick me up when my skins looking a bit lack lustre as It's designed to resurface and brighten your skin, products I'm very fond of and constantly drawn too - count me in for anything that gives you practically new skin by morning. However, this is slightly different from a lot I've tried. Usually, you get that famous tingling sensation that is associated with AHA based products, but only ever so lightly with this one. Yet, it's still very effective and leaves my  skin feeling plump and full of moisture. Perhaps one to try if you want to brace AHA's but maybe you have sensitive skin and want to steer away from the tingling that usually occurs.

If there is one product I love, it's a good bronzer. Face full of slap or not they bring warmth to your complexion, add shape and generally make you look healthier, which can make a hell of a difference. I've tried my fair share of bronzers and I'm bringing to you my edit of the ones that have made the cut. I know you're thinking why do you need four different bronzers? But I promise you they are all different and bring different things to the table - It all depends what you want to achieve out of it, but I reckon I've got a good selection here for everyone. Plus, it's good to have choice, right?

However saying that, there is currently a competition running where students from London College of Fashion (Can I just mention the likes of Jimmy Choo studied there, just wow) have the opportunity to design their very own clog. There have been 5 people shortlisted in a chance to win the competition and this has been judged by fashion editor Hilary Alexander, designer LuLu Guinness and founder of Fitflop Marcia Kilgore.

Nioxin & Thinning Hair Awareness Week

Mid January I attended an event with Nioxin to learn about the products and what they are all about. Nioxin focus on treating ladies, and men with concerns of hair thinning. They have a wide range of products including a three step system to cater to six different hair types. It's designed to be a at home treatment to achieve fuller, thicker looking hair. Beforehand I didn't know you could even get that many hair types so it's trusting to see they supply products to suit specific hair types, therefore it's more targeted and usually means better results.
