*African Botanics Neroli Infused Marula Oil

There are three skincare rules I live by in order to achieve and maintain good, healthy skin (not touching on diet, this plays a big part too!). They are to have a good cleanser, use SPF daily and use a good quality oil on your face every night. And oh boy, I think I've found the perfect one... I've touched on it a few times, but it most definitely deserves it's very own post.

African Botanics Neroli Infused Marual Oil, a brand that has newly been introduced into Space NK, and if it's made it in there, you know its a winner straight away. Joining the other fabulous, edited brands. This luxurious face oil is made up of two ingredients, Neroli and Marula oil. It's as simple as that, no preservatives of nasties to worry about with this one. Both oils are packed with Omega's, antioxidants and vitamins to deeply hydrate, repair and refine your skin. This has been a little bit of a god send to me, I've tried my fair share of face oils and oil based serums, but this by far has stood out the most and has been most effective.

It's a fairly light oil with a sweet, none sickly smell making it a pleasure to massage into my skin in the evening, two pumps does the job and absorbs quickly. It doesn't feel greasy or sticky, just extremely nourishing and comforting. I've been using it for the past 6 weeks or so and to be honest, my skin has never been better. It's not only me thats noticed, but I've been getting more compliments and I think this has played a big part in that. It's noticeably brighter, clearer, scars have reduced and the texture of my skin has dramatically improved. It's also helped quite a lot when there is a spot surfacing, they heal and clear up much quicker then they would have before which has always been a concern for me. I can't rave enough.

Yes, it's slightly on the pricey side, but for me it ticks every single box in terms of Packaging, texture, smell and the results. I would recommend it for all skin types, don't you oily girls shy away - you need to hydrate your skin in order to balance it out, and this would be a good option not being too rich in texture. I think this would especially be good if you have very dry skin, and need a light oil to layer under your moisturiser in the day to protect and keep your skin hydrated throughout. The only downside? The price. However, I can see this lasting such a long time, 6 weeks down the line and only a tiny bit has been used. I was lucky enough to receive this - but I'd definitely purchase once used up.

You can buy this product from Spacek NK, it will set you back £64 but if you're looking to invest I highly recommend.

  4. Every time I think something's too expensive, my head finds a way to justify it. Usually something along the lines of "You only have one face! Ten years from now, will $90 feel expensive if you have nice skin?" Can't wait to check this out!

  13. This sounds amazing but I've never really tried applying any oil-based product to my skin. I have oily skin that is prone to occasional breakouts. Would you recommend this for my skin type?

Stay beautiful and keep smiling! ^^
