Pre-shoot Skin Prep

*Freeze 24.7 Prep & Polish, *GlamGlow Tingling & Exfoliating Mud Mask, 

*Origins Make A Difference Plus + Rejuvenating Treatment

Recently I was on my first ever photo-shoot, which was very exciting. Amongst the excitement, nervous feelings were present. Lots of things running through my head, one of those regarding my skin. I haven't got bad skin, but the first things I thought is to minimise any pores, smooth and brighten. So, I rustled through my draws and picked out three prep, perfect products to make me feel a little more confident and prepare my skin for the bright lights and HD cameras, yikes.

First step was to decongest my skin. Not that I felt my skin was congested, I just wanted to use something that minimised my pores and drew out any impurities to give me clearer skin. My product of choice? GlamGlow Tingling & Exfoliating Mud Mask (used two days before to avoid over loading my skin with strong products) - Makes your skin tingle like no other, to the point where it hurts a little, but to be honest I kind of like that. Once left on for 10 minutes you wash it off with warm water and whilst doing this the lumps of volcanic rock gently exfoliate your skin. Leaving it not only noticeably clearer, but it also felt less congested. 

Next up, something I used the night before - Freeze 24.7 Prep & Polish. This was used to smooth out the texture of my skin, giving a good manual exfoliation to get rid of any dead skin cells, not usually into manual exfoliators but I adore this product. It's packed with tiny white grains that feel quite harsh. Surprisingly it doesn't irritate my skin or leave it feeling dry, which I often find with these kind of products. After massaging a small amount for two minutes into my warm, damp skin it left it feeling fresh and nourished, something that I personally find hard to achieve. Another product that is very effective resulting in a smooth surface.

Last but not least, a product that is introduced on the day. Before leaving the house I applied the Origins Make a Difference Plus + Rejuvenating Treatment. A gel like formula that gives my skin a boost of hydration and protects. It almost gives the result of a primer, instantly making my skin feel silky smooth and comfortable.
