Diorskin Nude BB Cream in 03, Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight

The January blues have hit. I'm feeling a little groggy, a few pounds heavier and all I've done for the last month is buy other people gifts, so I thought it was the perfect time for a little therapy on Bond Street.

First counter on my hit list, Dior. With their SS13 collection on the counters I couldn't help but have a browse. One product from the collection that really stood out to me was the BB Cream - I first tried a sample in the latest issue of Elle and instantly fell in love. Not usually a sheer base kinda girl, but this one is different to any I have ever tried. I haven't got the most perfect skin and usually find myself blending and blending to create an even base. However, this one blends like a dream and offers the most natural finish, that feels so lightweight and perfect on the skin. Literally feels like you have nothing on. More on this later...

Next counter on the list was Kevyn Aucoin. After having a marathon of watching videos from the lovely make-up artist that is Charlotte Tilbury, I couldn't help but instantly lust after the Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight after she used it. I had some N Duldge to spend so it was perfectly justified. Now, the product itself, never tried or seen a highlighter like this, Aucoin is the king of contouring and highlighting so it lived up to all my expectations. When applied you achieve a natural, subtle 'lit from within' glow.
