One of my all time favourite (I don't have a lot of favourites) high-street brands have launched a fabulous new range of lipsticks. The range is called Rouge Edition and consists of 18 shades in total all divided into three families. First they have a selection call "Preppy" which is a toned down selection of neutrals. Next up is "Night Out" which is said to be their glamorous selection, which is built up with deep reds and plumb shades. Last but not least my favourite, "Colour Block" which consists of bright, eye catching shades.
I've luckily had the opportunity to have a play before their release date and have made an edit of my favourite shades out of the new range to share with you. There are some beautiful shades and I think they will be a huge hit! My first taste into the new range was last month when I tried shade 10 whilst taking part in a competition, I was extremely impressed. They have an opaque finish and are very smooth. The finish? slightly glossy which I personally love. Very flattering on the lips, they also feel quite hydrating too. Onto the packaging - Very sleek with the black packaging and the exposed shade at the end makes them very practical, a really good combination, which I like to see from a high-street brand.
They cost £7.99 and are exclusive to Selfridges, London from December but will be available nationwide in February 2013. Any shades you have your eye on?
