*Ole Henriksen Truth Is In The Eyes Peel
If there's one skincare brand that I have been going slightly cray cray (yes I did just say that) for recently, It's Ole Henriksen. A brand that I have only recently discovered in the last 4 months, but one that I'm extremely happy to introduce to my skincare regime. They are everything I expect from a brand, does what it says on the tin and are extremely effective. There are three different products that I've been using none stop, the Power Peel Kit, Truth Is in The Eyes Peel and the Total Truth Eye Cream.
Lets start with the Power Peel Kit - Inspired by Charliz Theron, a fan and regular customer of Ole Henriksen and having treatments at his Hollywood spa. She wanted a product to take on the road with her when she wasn't able to get her treatments, yet still have the same effectiveness. Voila! The Power Peel Kit is born. A three step system that ensures to resurface, refine and brighten your skin. First step includes an almond polish, a thick almost clay like exfoliator that removes dead skin cells to give a smooth surface, seriously the best exfoliator ever. Next step is the Lemon Peel, made up of AHA's and fruit acids to eat away dead skin cells to promote re-growth of new cells revealing brighter skin, and in the long run helping with scaring. The last step is a Chamomile mask, which helps to soothe and calm the skin and to take away any redness caused by the lemon strip. This is the ultimate product if you want to give your skin a kick to completely brighten and resurface, also perfect for travelling.
The next two products go hand in hand and work beautifully together. I was a bit scared first hearing about this product, a peel for your eyes? The most sensitive area on the face? But, oh boy was I wrong. The way in which I use this is applying a thin layer of the eye peel on the contour of my eye, which by the way didn't tingle one but, which is usually the case with peels. It's made up of AHA's to exfoliate and resurface the area and Vitamin C to brighten. Once that's sunk in, I pat the Total Truth Eye Cream in the contour, which includes Omega 3 extracts to intensively hydrate. The next morning my under eye area is a lot smoother in texture, giving the same result as the lemon peel on your face. Highly recommend if you get tired, dry eyes and need a pick me up, or to reduce visible lines.
You can buy Ole Henriksen from Feel Unique, slightly pricey but definitely worth investing in. I've seen Ole Henriksen on offer a few times on Feel Unique too, so keep your eyes peeled! (no pun intended)

Absolutely love the sound of the Power Peel Kit! It sounds great for brightening and refreshing skin :)

This sounds like a lovely cocktail for the skin! I love Ole... I have the Truth Revealed Creme. Will have to try these out as well! Thanks for the review. x
ReplyDeleteI love the Truth line! I swear by his Advanced Hydration Truth creme as a nighttime moisturizer, it keeps my skin sooo baby soft. And you definitely caught my attention with that Power Peel kit. Almond, lemon and chamomile one after the other, AND they make your skin smoother and brighter? Sounds just about like heaven.

The eye peel does sound a little scary! But I've heard great things about this brand... glad it's working so well for you!
