Kurt Geiger Dolls Event In Manchester

Friday, 23 November 2012

Next week on Wednesday 28th November I will be heading up north to attend the Kurt Geiger Dolls Event in Manchester. Personally I love Kurt Geiger and have many times fallen head over heels with their shoes, lusting and dreaming over many pairs. That's why I'm extremely excited to attend the event to have a browse, mingle and join in with the fun.

The event is for anyone and you can pop into the store have a bubbly, some yummy canapes and enjoy 25% off. Not only that, you can get your hair styled and be transformed into a Kurt Geiger Doll by having a illustration, pretty fabulous eh?

Diptyque Sapin Dore Christmas Candle

Thursday, 22 November 2012

The other day I was invited to the Bond Street Diptyque boutique to have a little explore. Being obsessed with all things festive I was particularly keen to browse their new christmas candles, which by the way are gorgeous and have made their way onto my Christmas list. The store itself is a delight to shop around, compact but everything is displayed beautifully and looks very inviting with their window displays.

Whilst relaxing in bed (my favourite place ever) taking part in my favourite activities like watching trashy tv, writing posts or browsing YouTube I like to have a selection of products on hand to cater to my beauty needs.

*Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara £17.00, you can buy it here.

The most recent mascara I have on the go is the latest offering from Clinique, the High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara. I'm usually a fan of the high street selection such as No7 Fanomenal mascara, which you can see a post here. But, this one might have just converted me...

Urban Decay LE 2012 Build Your Own Palette

*Urban Decay Build Your Own Palette in Melt

Whenever I think of eyeshadows, Urban Decay comes to mind. A fun, bright, edgy brand that offers a huge range of super pigmented, great quality eyeshadows at fantastic value. Earlier this year they released their 'Build Your Own Palettes' - which allows you to buy a funky designed empty pan to build, switch up and collect your favourite UD shadows to your hearts content.

Taking Care of My Nails...

Wednesday, 7 November 2012

*Neal's Yard Bee Lovely Hand Cream, Leighton Denny Crystal Nail File, *Leighton Denny
Touch and Go Cuticle Pen, *Seche Vite Recondition

Just recently I've given my nails a little break. Swapping rich autumn shades for a natural glossy look, and harsh varnish remover for nourishing oils! I've pulled together the products that I've really enjoyed using to help get my nails back in good condition. Say bye to staines, flakes and dryness and hello to healthy nails!

October Jolie Box

Sunday, 4 November 2012

I know this is a bit late but I was quite impressed with the October Jolie Box so I thought I would share it with you...

Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser - This apparently is one of their best selling products, I've tried their eye cream before and was actually really impressed! Considering its price and the fact you can pick up Balance Me products from Waitrose meaning its easily accessible. This is definitely a brand you want to be looking into if you're on a budget yet want effective results.

The Edit: Concealers

Friday, 2 November 2012

*Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer, Benefit Erase Paste, By Terry Touche Veloutee

I've been through quite a few concealers in my time, being someone who suffers with dark circles they are an absolute essential. They have to be high coverage, none cakey, long lasting and none drying! Not expecting much eh? I have got together my three favourite products for hiding those circles to share with you.
