London Fashion Weekend with Elizabeth Arden

I have been well and truly spoilt this fashion week/weekend season having the opportunity to attend with some lovely brands, once again my friend Sabrina invited me along with her and Elizabeth Arden to London Fashion Weekend. I had been previously a couple of years ago and wasn't too impressed, but I really enjoyed it! It had a great atmosphere, brimmed with lots of different independent designers selling their product.

When we got there we had a little browse around then headed over to the Elizabeth Arden stand where the lovely Zoe showed us through some of their new products.

I received quite a few questions after posting this wedding outfit of the day regarding my hair style. But unfortunately I'm one of those lucky ones who naturally has a slight wave in their hair, that mixed with not brushing my hair I can achieve a messy "beachy" look. Because of that I thought I would try and create this look using these ghd Pink Cherry Blossom Stylers, they are so adorable! I especially love the pink glittery plates, such a nice touch. Autumn Nails with Bourjois

Autumn has just kicked in and I'm not just thinking about my wardrobe, time to switch my polishes from pastels to deep berry shades! This one I'm wearing is from the Bourjois 1 Second range and I have to say, they are incredible. Coming close to my all time favourite Topshop polish's which I didn't think was possible for a budget buy.

I have not created one of these videos in so long so I'm really excited to share with you my favourites, some new and some old! My favourite out of the bunch has to be the Nuxe dry oil, you will find out in the video why that is. I will have to write a post about it soon to show you how its made a difference to my skin. Avon Limited Edition Arctic Goddess Launch

The other day I hopped on the train to Mayfair to meet Laura and Sabrina to head to the Mayfair hotel to preview the launch of a new Avon collection, Arctic Goddess. The collection consists of frosty blues and greens - not usually something I would like but it looked beautiful. The lovely Alesha Dixon was there sporting the eyeshadow palette and she looked amazing. We also met the Pixiwoo sisters and they were so lovely, it was such a pleasure to meet them! We had a good chat about make-up and it was fabulous to ask their opinions and recommendations in person.

The Body Shop All In One BB Cream

BB creams were always something I was quite skeptical about - claiming to be some sort of miracle product that offered to us a moisturiser, primer, foundation all in one, with added skincare benefits! I've tried some BB creams in the past, none of them really appealed to me. They felt quite greasy on my skin and only came in one shade which isn't ideal for someone like me who likes to wear a tan. Saying that, one that did catch my eye and intrigued me was the The Body Shop All In One BB Cream. I have no idea what it was, maybe it was the nice packaging? Who knows!

Juicy Couture London Sample Sale 75% OFF

A different kind of post for you today, I just wanted to share with you the details of a Juicy Couture sample sale that is coming up. Some of you may know that I interned with them this summer and I am going to be helping them out some more working at their sample sale. 

Juicy Couture have a great reputation for their sample sales, I went to one and it was amazing! I didn't think I would have liked anything, but they actually have some really lovely things. Everything is 75% off or more, I have seen the price list and everything is so cheap! I can't reveal everything but I can tell you that track suit bottoms and hoodies are £15 - they retail for over £200 and tops are £5.00. Thats just a little example of the kind of discounts to expect.

Tahir Sultan SS/13 at LFW, Vauxhall Fashion Scout

The second show that I saw on Saturday was by a designer called Tahir Sultan, and I have to say I was blown away. Not only were his clothes incredible but there was an amazing atmosphere, plus the models were beautiful! Overall it was my favourite collection I had seen that day, I love how feminine and chic it was whilst some pieces were toughened up with embellishments. Mainly consisting of neutral colours. When colour was shown it was through neon accents on a basic top, shoes, other accessories or a statement necklace.

LFW Ones To Watch with The Body Shop

I was luckily invited by my lovely blogging friend Sabrina to join her and The Body Shop to see some shows at London Fashion Week. We headed off to Vauxhall Fashion Scout to watch "Ones To Watch" which is basically a showcase of some up and coming designers. Which I was extremely excited about. I've been to a couple of shows in the past, but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I have quite a lot of pictures, I hope you don't mind!

In the press lounge The Body Shop had set up a nifty little station full of beauty products to have a quick touch up. I had my eye on the BB cream, luckily I got one in the goodie bag so I'm excited to try it!

After work it's sometimes the case that I'm heading to an event, as you can image after a long day in the office and running around doing intern roles, you're not going to be looking or feeling your best...
