*Dior Skin Nude Bronzer in 02, *Tom Ford lipstick in Pink Dusk, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 6.5, *Kevyn Aucoin Lip Pencil in Cerise
Over the past month I have been trying lots of different make-up products are there are a certain few that have really stood out to me. They all have a touch of luxe so If you fancy treating yourself then carry on reading...
First on my beauty radar is the Dior Nude Bronzer, I use shade 02 which is a perfect match. It's a powder bronzer that offers warmth, glow and subtle definition. I use it with my MAC 187 Duo Fibre Brush - they are a match made in heaven. It blends beautifully which looks extremely natural, it does have subtle shimmer in the pan but this doesn't really transfer once applied.
Next up is the Tom Ford lipstick in Dusky Pink - I've not been able to keep my mitts off this! The formula of these are very creamy, long lasting and comfortable to wear. Of course, I can't forget the stand out packaging which earns big points from me, I'm definitely not ashamed to pull this baby out on the tube! It is quite pricey so I probably shouldn't be using it daily, I will have to restrain myself and pull it out just for special occasions. Oh yes, I must quickly say that I got the Dior bronzer and Tom Ford lipstick from a site called Shopcade - You can browse through hundreds of stores and build points to redeem as you shop. It's very quite addictive, I warned you...
Going onto base products, the Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation holds a special place in my heart. It's safe to say that this is my absolute favourite foundation, originally I bought it for nights out because it photographs beautifully. But to hell with it! It's one of those feel good products, you know? It's a medium-buildable foundation that instantly melts into your skin when applied leaving you with a luminous finish, as the name says. To top it off the lasting power is pretty impressive.
Another lip product that has me under a spell is the Kevyn Aucoin lip pencil in Cerise. A deep, rich red with a slight pink undertone that looks velvety on the lips. I've had so many compliments when wearing this and it's my go-to when I want a bold lip. One of the best things about it? Lasts all day, no need for touch ups. Even after eating juicy burgers in Meat Liquor!
You can buy the Kevyn Aucoin lip pencil from Space NK.
