After giving my nails a little break, which you can read more about in this post here. I decided to get back in the shwing of things, go full out and try out some new products I've got my paws on.
First step is to of course wash my hands and nails so they are squeaky clean, after that the Body Shop nail quad comes in place (not quite sure what else to call it). I love these and have been using them forever. They have four steps to use on your nails and ensure they are looking preened and polished. Then it's time to bring in the Leighton Denny Crystal nail file, which is ah-ma-zing. No longer will I squeal at the texture of an emory board scraping across my nails *shudder*.
Once my nails are shaped nicely I use the Revlon Quick Dry Base Coat, which really is quick dry, highly recommend. Now, the fun part, picking my colour of choice for the week. Of course I went for the new additions to my collection, American Apparel in Mouse and Constellation, two coats of the lovely mushroom colour and a coat of Constellation on my index finger and I'm done. Once they have dried I add one last coat of the Seche Vite Topcoat, also an amazing product. Dries extremely fast and no doubt helps with the longevity of the polish.
I'm not usually messy when it comes to painting my nails, but for any little mistakes I used the Nails Inc Corrector pen which is just perfect! On the other end there are exchangeable nibs for when the others get dirty. Whilst that makes them look tidy I bring in another couple of products to add moisture and complete it all. Hand cream of choice is the Neals Yard Bee Lovely and cuticle oil which I've been loving is the one by Leighton Denny.
