Nestled on the third floor of Harvey Nichols, London there is a new shopping experience for us beauty addicts called the Beauty Mart. I like to think of it as a mix between a boutique and your dream dressing room. They stock the best selling products from brands, some exclusive that you can't find anywhere else in the UK. The shelves are brimmed with skincare, hair care and accessories. Whilst the fixtures in the middle with lit up mirrors are full of makeup, adding that feeling that you're browsing through a dressing table. With it being founded by Millie Kendall (of Ruby & Millie cosmetics!) and Anne-Marie Solowij, previous beauty editor of Vogue it makes the shopping experience much more exciting and pleasurable. After all we trust expert industry insiders opinions on products and the fact they stock products that they personally have tried, tested and love it feels a lot more comforting and gives you more confidence when buying.
I didn't buy anything this time, but I do plan on having another visit this week to pick up some bits from Melvita. I personally adore what they have done here, I find that going into places like Boots and beauty halls it can be so overwhelming. At least with Beauty Mart you know you are looking at the best of the best. I would love to see them introduce a loyalty card for their customers.
