Caudalie Cleansing Water

Sunday, 10 June 2012

This has recently been my product of choice for removing my makeup in the evening before cleansing. I prefer to take my makeup off first so I get a deeper cleanse when doing so with my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, review to come soon. I picked this up from Feel Unique about 2 months ago and I'm just about coming to the end of the 200ml bottle. I think It only cost me £13.50 which isn't too bad at all I don't think! I had been looking for a cleansing water to remove my makeup for a while after discovering that makeup wipes were doing nothing for my skin other then drying it out and stripping it. Yuck! I was looking into getting the Bioderma that everyone is raving about, but I wasn't keen on trying it for a number of reasons, one of them being if it has any added skincare benefits? With this Caudalie Cleansing Water it feels very refreshing, soothing and gentle! It removes my makeup perfectly using two cotton pads. It doesn't remove every single bit because I can still see some foundation coming off onto my muslin cloth. But I can accept that because I feel like I get nice deep cleanse with my Liz Earle. This is something that I would definitely re-purchase, I know they have a 400ml bottle for £16.20 on Feel Unique so I'm tempted to get that. But I'm open to recommendations if anyone has any? I was thinking about trying the This Works cleansing water!

You can buy this from Feel Unique Here.

  1. I use this too and I really like it, I used to use the bioderma but I wanted some that was a like more readily available to me plus I didn't fancy paying £15 for it on Ebay. I'm really liking Caudalie at the moment I would love to try more of their products xx

  4. I've currently got a bottle of this on the go and a bottle of the Bioderma and honestly, as a makeup remover - the Bioderma wins. It's much more effective BUT I do love how refreshing the Caudalie water is and always use it to cleanse on days when I haven't been wearing any makeup or as an extra step after the Bioderma to leave my skin feeling extra clean and fresh! I'll definitely be repurchasing the Bioderma...but I *can* live without the Caudalie cleansing water...xx

    1. It is scented but its very light, Its one of the last ingredients on the list so ever to slightly :) It says its suitable for all skin types so it might be worth picking up a 100ml bottle to try? xo

  6. This sounds great :) I am after a cleansing water because i find that cleansing milk is a little bit too greasy for my skin. I was planning to buy the bioderma from ebay to use but never got round to its great that you did a review for this, because this sounds so much better and the price is around the same~

  8. I have just finnished a bottle of this too! I hve to say though I much prefer the bioderma; gets every last bit of make up off! Plus I find te claudalie leaves a sticky residue? Defiantly reccomend the bioderma.. I found a 500ml for £13 on eBay xxx
